Mesa Verde

We met up with much of the Barber clan as they camped just outside of the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. (The Hubert's stayed at the Kothe B&B -- NICE accomodations plus good, hot coffee in the mornin' and cold, local beer in the evenin' - nice folks :))
Anyway... we had a great time hanging out by the campfire and swimmin' and hiking around in Mesa Verde. Here are just a few of the shots I caught:

The Hubert's brought pizza for their night for dinner! Typical camping food, right??? Thank goodness, Jenn and Derek remembered the ingredients for s'mores... and it looks to me like Trin and Tony (above) and Jack (below) didn't mind pizza at all!

Ella and Meg were very brave climbing the ladders at Cliff House.

That could've been Jack in the backpack but right before we were heading out for the hike down into Cliff House, he hurled all over my back... well, the first time, he missed me but the second time I wasn't so lucky... Not sure if the heat got to him or if he had a little bug...

Fortunately, Sweetie wasn't too crazy about crawling up and down the ladders so she and Jack hung out in the van with the A/C on high and watched Cars. He was doing much better when we returned about an hour later.
