Halloween in Sheridan

This was one of the most beautiful Halloween's I have ever experienced - the weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Jack and I sat out on the porch and handed out candy - I think it was about 65 degrees - no winter coats over (or under) costumes this year!!

Meg got this play makeup kit for her birthday. She loves it. I am NOT a fan...
She has been begging to use and I figured that Halloween was the perfect opportunity!!! She did up Ella's nails and even applied some beautiful (and might I say subtle) blue eye shadow to go with Ella's jellyfish costume. She then applied some not-so-subtle pink eyeshadow on her own eyes to match her fairy princess dress. I was proud of her and how she applied the make-up for her sister and herself.

This lil' costume was almost too small for Jack - and he didn't like that he couldn't use his legs! He and I stayed home to hand out candy while Dave and girls walked our block and filled their lil' pumpkin buckets FULL of candy in only 3 blocks!!!

Pumpkin Carving with the Hubert's

Jack's first experience with pumpkin carving!!! He kept saying "ball" and patting the pumpkins - until the top came off and he put his hand inside!!!

This is the first time that the girls have carved their pumpkins all on their own - love those safe carving tools!!!

This one is mine! Happy yet sinister... :)
