Family Pics that Nina took for us

In an attempt to get my Christmas card done (in late January!!!), Nina came over and took some fun pictures of us.
Some of them we cropped and they look a lot better the way I cropped them... sorry not to include that here.

I know you loved the pink dining room...

...so I kept some of the Regal Rose (for you SU! fans) just on the bottom and added some So Saffron to take the edge off of the pink!

Dave's aunt Debbie came up to visit with Jeannine and then the snow moved in! We knew they were going to be here for a few days. Debbie and I had a conversation about how I never really loved the pink so Wednesday morning she says, "let's paint your dining room!" Alright -- so she helped me pick some colors and after Ella got up from her nap, we went and got paint and got her started! She did most of it and I realized again why I haven't taken on a project like this... Jack would start crying as soon as I got my paint brush wet and then Meg would get home from school and Ella needed help on the computer... ya know - life of a mom with three babies!

Debbie also found lots of time to cuddle with Jack!!! The girls also enjoyed reading books with her and granma. We sure enjoyed their visit and are glad that they made it home safely!

New Paparazzi Members Being Trained in Sheridan!!!

So for Christmas, the leader of the local Paparazzi (aka Sweetie, Granny, Mom, or Diane) and Papa got the girls their very own digital cameras!!! OMIGOSH were they excited. They began learning together (with a lot of direction from Ella, which was cool, because I'd helped her figure some of it out before Meg got home from school) and taking many many pictures and videos!

While Nina shot some photos for us to use for our family Christmas card - that will be mailed out in February - the girls also shot from their perspective! Can't wait to download these!!!

In remembrance of our "Crabby Crab" -- fun video and now he's gone... flusheroo for him...

Ella got this bouncy ball for Meg for Christmas. Dave blew it up with just his own hot air!!! They've been bouncing around the house ever since! I think this video is an attempt to appear on America's Funniest Home Videos. Now that they have their own cameras, I'm afraid that they are going to try and try to make the show! It's one of their favorites! Nice segway to the next video...

He is soooo close to smilin' here!!!

He loves to hang out in the papasan chair with us --- we put him right up on the table when we're eating and he watches me bustle about the kitchen every morning!

Jack doesn't like bows in his hair (much to his father's and sisters' delight!) but he does like cuddlin' with his big sister! Meg was willing to have him sleep in her bed all night!!!

Beautiful Winter Weather

After the -5 degree highs we have had already this winter, a high of 55 degrees feels like a heat wave!!! The girls and Jack and I went for a walk! It was a bit slushy and messy and wet but worth it to get some exercise and fresh air! Jack enjoyed it and fell asleep toward the end of our walk.

Christmas in Sheridan

We had Christmas morning at home this year. It was pretty nice - very relaxing. At one point after we'd opened a few gifts, the girls decided they were ready for breakfast. So, we stopped and had breakfast. Then came back a bit later and did stockings and such.

Jack really got into it :)

Santa brought a swing set for the girls - unfortunately, it's on the front porch in a few boxes. Santa left this note on the tree.
